Jermyn Street


Famous for it's shirt making establishments and renowned around the world, Jermyn Street dates back to 1664 when Charles ll authorised Henry Jermyn, the Earl of St Albans, to develop an area close to St James’s Palace. It has flourished ever since with its world renowned reputation as the centre for gentlemen’s fashion, especially bespoke shirts.

At No.77 family run shirtmakers Harvie & Hudson are well known for their speciality striped shirts and matching silk neckties.

Hilditch & Key



At No.37 and 73 is Hilditch & Key who with over 100 years of experience continue to be one of the most popular makers of custom shirts.

New & Lingwood



No.53 residents New & Lingwood were established in 1865 in Eton to serve the scholars of Eton College. It has continued since then to act as the official outfitters to the College from its original premises at 118 High Street, Eton, fitting out in many cases five generations of the same family. Upon leaving the College, most Old Etonians have continued to loyally support the firm at its branches in Eton and 53 Jermyn Street, St James's, London, the flagship store of the Company. New & Lingwood also offer an excellent range of shoes.

T.M. Lewin



At No.106 we find T.M. Lewin. Established in 1898 by Thomas Mayes Lewin the company produce shirts of incredible quality, which are cut close to the body with a broad spread and a range of collar types. They are my shirt makers of choice and i pretty much purchase exclusively Lewin due to their efficient mail order service, exceptional quality and fit and incredible value for money. Their fantastic women's collection are also a favourite for my significant other half.

Turnbull & Asser



One of the most famous makers is based at No.71, Turnbull & Asser. With a minimum order quantity of 6 garments for custom made shirts and a lead time of 12 weeks the finish product is regarded as being well worth the wait.
